I finally decided to grow out my short mommy hair and it was at a good point where it was starting to look long, but needed a clean-up. I ended up getting my hair chopped off to what I call, “The worst hair cut in all my 45 years.” I’m only 30, but the haircut she gave me made me look 15 years older. Brace yourselves, ladies and gentlemen, you’re in for an ugly ride.

Here it’s past my shoulders, easy to style. I just pinned it to the side, but you can kind of see towards the back that it starts flippin’ out because it was growing out from my angled bob from a few months ago.

It’s a LOB (long bob)! I like the texture she has in the front. I showed this to the hair dresser and she barely glanced at it. So here’s what it ended up looking like:

Hey, FAT FACE!
As you can see, the left side and the right side were two totally different haircuts. I don’t even know what to call the shorter pieces in front of my eyes. Bangs?! They aren’t even the same length…even if I pulled that one long piece over to the right it still wouldn’t make sense. Lastly, she added layers around my face so that every piece of hair pointed to my chin. I don’t even like my chin(s). FYI – layers that “frame your face” actually make your face look bigger. My head is naturally shaped like an egg and this haircut proved just that.
The only mercy this hair dresser gave me was leaving it long enough to pull back into a ponytail. I think these pictures were the only few minutes I had actually had my hair down…I even pulled it into a ponytail as I was walking out of the salon, it was THAT hideous.
I lived with it for about a week and I got it fixed yesterday! Stay tuned for awesomeness to come 🙂
