Pumpkin Patch 2012

Pumpkin patch here we come!  Actually, we went there a few weeks ago (on my actual birthday) but I’ve been so behind on posting pics and stuff.

We pass by Goebbert’s pumpkin patch at least once a week. That huge pumpkin is there all year round, so every time we pass it, Arielle squeals, “LOOK, MOMMY! THERE’S THE PUMPKIN PAAAATCH!  Do you see it?  Remember, we went there yesterday?!”  (FYI – “Yesterday” is the only word Arielle uses to refer to events that occurred in the past.  On the other hand, anything that’s coming up in the future is referred to as “Saturday”).

We look forward to actually going there once autumn comes around.  Jeff and I have been going there even before we had the babies.  Every year we take pictures, eat apple cider donuts and corn, then sip on some hot cider.  They have a ton of activities for kids including a petting zoo, haunted house, and hay rides.  There used to be an open field where kids could run around and pick pumpkins, but for some reason they closed that part off this year and you have to pay $10 to get inside.  Total bummer!  We decided not to go for it this year since the kids are too young to actually enjoy it.

We lucked out with the sunny weather that day!  Here are the pictures (just click on any picture to activate the gallery):

We’ll see you again next “Saturday,” Pumpkin Patch!
