Paw Patrol Birthday Party

Last weekend, we hosted a joint birthday party for Arielle and Zavier, where Arielle wanted a Sofia the First birthday and big boy Zavier wanted a Paw Patrol birthday party. I was able to pull off both themes in one party by setting up separate sweet tables with decorations and custom labels. You can check out how Arielle’s Sofia the First sweet table turned out here. And this is how Zavier’s Paw Patrol sweet table turned out:

Paw Patrol Birthday Party

This is the only area of the house that had the Paw Patrol decorations, so I wanted to make sure it had big impact. I started by hanging streamers against the wall, then hung Paw Patrol decorations from the ceiling:

The centerpiece of the sweet table was the Paw Patrol birthday cake. I had a local bakery make the cake and we were able to save some money by topping it with a Paw Patrol toy instead of having the cake designer create it from scratch using fondant. Plus, Zavier got to keep the toy after the cake was gobbled up:

I bought donuts and popcorn from the store and made the Puppy Chow the night before. I gave it a customized look by creating Paw Patrol food labels using Canva. Then I printed them out on 5×7 cardstock paper and folded them in half.

You can use my designs and edit them in Canva. It’s free, click here It should be pretty easy to figure out how to modify the labels, then you can save it as an image and print them out.

I also used Canva to create custom favor bag toppers for sandwich bags. I printed these out onto 5×7 cardstock paper, folded them in half, and stapled them onto the sandwich bags.

You can use the template in Canva to change the picture, name, and age: click here. Makes for a quick, easy, and cheap favor bag!

  7. What a cutie pie! It looks like their Birthday was super fun! I really like how you made the labels for each food and put which ones contained nuts. I wouldn’t think to do that but now I’ll definitely do that for when Sophie has friends over for Birthdays!

  9. Hi! This is so adorable and the total source of inspiration for our 3 year old’s party next weekend. I tried to access the printables (thank you btw) and they don’t seem to be the ones you used. Is there an alternative link? Thanks!

    • Unfortunately, the Canva app saves the template used by the last person and looks like they have modified it so much that it no longer looks like what I had posted here. I went back to restore as much as I could so hopefully it works out for you. Happy birthday to your 3 year old boy!!
