{Infographic} Toddler Stats

When people ask me how my kids are doing, I usually say that Arielle is a doll and that Zavier drives me crazy.  And by crazy, I mean crazy in love and driving me up the wall at the same time.  Or I say that he’s like a sour patch kid – first he is sour, then he is sweet.

There are so many things that he is learning at this critical time of his life – how to not pee or poop in his pants, how to curb his ninja-like instincts used to sneak out of bed, and how to speak using real words.  Talk about pressure from a parenting perspective! I’m failing.  Miserably.  Being the analytical gal that I am, I decided to put some brief stats together on my recent experiences with toddlerhood:

toddler stats, potty training, toddler infographic,

Please tell me I’m not the only one.  Please.

  1. Absolutely ADORABLE way to describe the toddler years! You nailed it! :)-Ashley

  2. I’m so with you on the 80/20 thing – Des at 18 months speaks a lot of nonsense and says, “No!” a lot. However, Scarlet is the one who drives me crazy, although I can definitely think of 1,000,000 reasons I love them both so much.

    • Oh, they can both drive me crazy sometimes, and not the crazy in love kind of crazy. He recently started saying, “Mommy, eeeh bhaaa oooohh?” (Mommy, where are you?) if he realizes that I left the room after a few minutes. It’s so cute once I actually figure out what he’s saying!

  3. I just went back to diapers too with my 21 month old. I thought the pull-ups would give her a little motivation but it didn’t work. She did really good using the potty for a couple of days when she was 19 months old, but then she got sick. She has not been interested since then, maybe in a couple of months we will try again.
