Wedding Memories Beyond the Photos

This Tuesday, Jeff and I will be celebrating our 3 year wedding anniversary.  I loved having all of our dear family and friends in one room, seeing their smiles, and knowing that we are loved not only as individuals, but as a couple. Best. Day. Ever.  Like all weddings, we went through all the traditional moments – a walk down the aisle, that first kiss, cake cutting, first dance, throwing the bouquet…and sure, those were all captured by our photographer, Jay Crihfield.  But what about the special moments in-between that aren’t necessarily captured in the photos?

Shortly after our wedding, I shared my top 20 favorite moments with my family and friends.  They were things that no one would have known about just by looking at the wedding photos, the stuff that happened behind the scenes that made my day as a bride extra special.  Then, I turned it into a photo book.  I’m so glad I did because every now and then when I go through the photo book, I can relive all those memories.  Here are some pages out of the book:

Bride's point of view Clare de LuneThanks for stealing my thunder, Dad! You look real nice, too. Just kidding (at the altar) Our wedding song Is that the smell of love or garlic bread? My precious moment. Welcome to the Good Life! Only my sister made me cry that day. Words of wisdom from the Best Man What I really should have said... Don't blink or you'll miss it! There's only 2 of us here, and I'm not the one who farted. Catch! Magic Mike who? Lights out!

Photo cred goes to Jay Crihfield (thank you for the wonderful photos!).  Oh, and happy anniversary to my wonderful husband!  You are my home.

Like the idea?  Pin it and save for later!
