House Hunters: A-Z Edition Part 2

Here’s the conclusion to House Hunters A-Z Editon…thanks for tuning in!  (If you missed Part 1, click here.)

As I mentioned before, home buying these days is nowhere near as easy as buying a home as you see if you watch the show House Hunters.  We actually put offers in on all three houses!  One house was a short sale and when the bank got around to reviewing the file, the realized that it was already sold at the sheriff’s auction literally the day before we put an offer on it.  The other house was also a short sale, but the bank countered at over $59K above our offer.  We countered, but it was such a long-shot that we decided to put in another offer on a foreclosure in the meantime.  Then, they BOTH accepted within days of each other.  When it came down to the decision, we went for the cardinal rule of real estate: location, location, location!  So which house was it?

Drumroll, please………..

House #3

House #3!  Hurray!!!  Did you guess right?  Okay, I’m switching back to writing in 3rd person…not to be creepy, just imagine that we’re on the show.  (Just go with it!)

Jeff and Gracielle are anxious to get settled into their new, spacious home.  They are looking forward to having a home that their kids can grow up in and their dog can enjoy.  Thank you for tuning in to this special A-Z edition of House Hunters.  Stay tuned as Gracielle takes us through the home decorating process featuring a style that she describes as “livable luxe.”
